Skydive Kentucky offers three types of jumps so you can experience the thrill of skydiving.
Tandem Skydiving is a popular option for first time jumpers because it offers an introduction to the sport while you are harnessed safely with a trained instructor. After 30 seconds of free-fall you get to pull the ripcord to release the parachute (of course, your instructor will be there to back you up).
Skydive Kentucky also offers Static Line Skydiving. If you are looking to solo jump on your first day, then Static Link Skydiving is for you. On this jump, the skydiver falls away from the plane and the deployment of the main canopy is initiated by a “static line” attached to the aircraft.
Our third type of jump offered at Skydive Kentucky is the Accelerated Freefall. While the training for this type of jump is extensive, you will experience a 50 second free-fall on your first jump. You will exit the plane with two USPA Accelerated Freefall Instructors that maintain a grip on your harness and give you in-air instruction via hand signals.
Whatever jump you decide on, the first rule at Skydive Kentucky is “Have Fun!” So schedule your jump with us today!
