To comply with orders related to the COVID-19 issued by Kentucky Governor Beshear’s Healthy at Home Executive Order, the President’s Corona Virus Guidelines, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
Skydive Kentucky will continue to suspend all skydiving operations through April 30, 2020.
It is forecast that the next two weeks are going to get worse! Please, do your part, follow CDC Guidance, Kentucky State Government Healthy at Home Order, and the Federal Government guidelines.
Those who made reservations through April 30, 2020, have been converted to ‘gift certificates’ which match your existing ‘booking’ and ‘reservation’ numbers on your initial confirmation emails. Use those confirmation numbers to reschedule your jump(s) at our website.
Student jumpers currently working towards their license who lose their currency during this interruption will receive free recurrency training.
We will still provide parachute packing and rigging services during this closure. You can ship your parachutes to us or drop-off and pick-up by appointment only. Payments will be received online.
On April 30, 2020, we will review conditions and announce how we plan to move forward. We hope to resume full operations in May.
We at Skydive Kentucky urgently ask that you follow all CDC practices do your part to help flatten the infection and death totals during this pandemic. It is looking like it may be the most severe threat to our way of life our generations have faced since our ‘greatest generation’. It’s time, step up, join us in doing your part. Be vigilant, comply with local, state, and federal orders and guidelines.
